Randy is enjoying his 2008 Airshow Season! By enjoying he says, "I have a great time with my airshow friends and don't have time to mow the lawn!"

I Love America in Springfield was the usual annual fun. Randy and George Beyl, the Skybolt's Crew Chief, are now preparing for Oshkosh AirVenture 2008 and tweaking the Skybolt 300's new video system.

Yes, this year the Skybolt 300 has a new in-plane video system to capture Randy's act from a pilot's point of view. Bearfeat POV Video is broadcast quality suitable for event promotions through favorite media outlets. This capability has been incorporated into the Bearfeat training activities and is offered as shameless advertising opportunities to sponsors. Kicking off the the latter, we thank the people at DataToys, for their help with the ruggedized solid state video recorders and high quality cameras.

The video system was installed during the annual winter work program Randy accomplishes on the Skybolt 300. For the past four years Randy spent his winters accomplishing small work packages that update and overhaul the Skybolt 300. Randy is grateful for the oversight and talent of people like George during the inspection and rebuilding process.
